Screw eyes are used for attaching the rocket shock cord to balsa nose cones and balsa tube connectors.

For best results, put a tiny hole in the balsa with a small nail (or anything smaller than the screw diameter of the Screw Eye), Be careful not to crush the balsa, you are only trying create a guide for the Screw Eye so use something pointy.

Dap a little white glue into the hole and then gently twist the Screw Eye into place. It will cut the thread as it goes. Once the glue is dry your Screw Eye should have a solid mount.
